[she sets the cup down] Okay, you're right. Some parts of the dreams are...surreal. Symbolic. Others aren't. I saw the flood before it 'appened, for one. But this... [she shakes her head, the horror of the dream obvious in her features] If you really want to know, then I'll tell you. [she takes another breath] So it started with Da Tian. Just...standing there. And then he spread 'is arms, and they sort of...transformed into wings.
But then I was standing on the Plane, and...everything was destroyed. The forest on fire and... [her voice catches, and she looks away, unable to meet his eyes as she shares] And people everywhere. The people from the Plane. People from my home. [she shakes her head, stopping for another sip of tea before she can continue. but she turns back to Wolfgang now] And then I saw you, separate from everybody else. You were in this...circle of scorched ground, surrounded by remains of those...angel things. There were lances through you. You were dead, too, Wolfgang. [she drops her gaze, her tone quieting as she fights against the wetness that has sprung up in her eyes] Everyone was dead. Everything in ruins, and all I could 'ear was this clock ticking. Louder and louder. And...and I woke up.
